Hiking Glass tempered glass door manufacturer began its first phase of operations in March 2021, providing tempered glass to the building and construction markets in Florida and the Caribbean as they began to rebound. Located in Miami, Florida, the company will also provide tempered glass for shower doors, office partitions and IG window units for residential and commercial buildings.
"Our goal is to provide customers with everything," Giraldo said. "We will perform so many different processes in the same place that we can provide general contractors or glaziers with almost any glass they need. We want to be regarded as their only source of heat treatment and insulating glass manufacturing. We will It can provide about 90% of the glass required for architectural use."
According to Giraldo, the company will be equipped with the best production lines-Glaston FC and RC production lines for tempered glass, ProL for lamination and the latest VARIO insulating glass production line with TPS® gaskets to complete the product portfolio .
As of March this year, Vortex has begun to produce tempered glass. Currently, the company is building and testing its lamination line. By the end of 2021, all three key processes will be ready.
Although Glaston tempering and laminating machines were purchased a few years ago, operations were delayed due to changes in warehouse locations. After the new warehouse is ready, Glaston's team will test the production line to make sure everything goes smoothly.
"So far, our experience with Glaston is very good-the FC production line is a good equipment concept," Giraldo said. "The VARIO production line will arrive in July and plans to start production later this year."
Vortex opened its doors in due course. As the market recovers from the pandemic, demand is high. Construction is picking up rapidly, especially in the company's main market, Florida, which provides an excellent opportunity for the company's first year of business growth.
