"For me, the color palette elegantly reflects the traditional washbasin and bathtub faucets. The original suite was in perfect condition and we really liked the traditional features.
"I remember seeing a full-wall mirror in the showcase family bathroom a few years ago, and I really like its effect.
"The absence of windows here is a great opportunity to try it, and we are excited about the illusion of light and space it now provides to the room."
She said: "I didn't intend to do anything in the bathroom on this day of Christmas. One night last week, I decided to pull up lino to see what was below.
"We used a Stanley knife and white wine and a lot of elbow grease to strip the sealant from the bathtub. This may be the hardest part, and I won't rush to do it again.
"It's a few inches deep at the bottom of the tile, and it's puzzling work. I have to admit, I did cry, hope I never started!
"After the preparations were completed, I spent some time researching tile paint. I realized that I had read a lot of horror stories and saw countless pictures of incorrect tile paintings, but with the best comments and many convenient tips, I decided to choose There is nothing to lose in this brand, otherwise there is basically no other choice!
"I scrubbed the tiles with sugar soap, any bumps were polished back with soft sandpaper, and we started using B&Q's V33 Satin White Tile Paint to work with foam rollers.
"You need to set aside exactly six hours between coats. When you are impatient, it is a difficult task. My husband took two coats and we closed the door because I could not summon the required funds. Until morning.
"The results are excellent. This paint dries very well. The coverage after two coats is very good, but we decided on the third layer to make sure it lasts."
"As complete DIY novices working full-time, we got some help from some very trustworthy businessmen to complete some other tasks outside of our skills," she said.
"Our initial offer was approximately £1,400 for re-tiling and flooring for sealing bathtubs and sinks.
"Recently, the cost of remodeling the bathroom was just over £300 for paint, flooring, wall art, work we couldn't do, and trade help for the big mirror.
"Bath racks and bathtubs are 25 pounds and 5 pounds respectively, white soap dispenser is 8 pounds, and soap dish is 5 pounds, all from Dunelm.
"I bought these before moving at the beginning of the year because I had this vision and I wanted to create it when we could afford it. They still have these now.
"The small mirror above the sink is 20 pounds from Argos, and the cabinet under the sink is 50 pounds," Lauren added.
"The large mirror we measured was customized by a local glass supplier, priced at £130, and delivered free of charge. We installed it ourselves using mirror adhesive. It dries in 5 minutes."
"The blush towels and flannel we already have from ASDA. The prints on the wall are three £21 from Etsy, the wooden frame from Frame is £5 each, and two green reusable bottles from eBay are £9.99. .
"The underfloor is primed with Zinsser BIN Multi-Surface Matt Primer. Since the floor is chipboard and in good condition, no padding is needed. We still have most of the tin left, which is great! I will prepare everything in the future.
“B&Q’s peeling and pasting vinyl floor tiles are priced at £15.60 per pack. The wall paint is Dulux Denim Drift Bathroom, mixed by Valspar, because our local B&Q is not the original brand (the fun of local blockade). A litre costs £15.
"The tile paint is B&Q's V33 Satin White wall tile and panel paint, which is applied with a small foam roller. We used three light-colored coats and the drying time between the two coats was 6 hours. Two liters required 36 pounds."
